Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Badan Nasional Penempatan dan Perlindungan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (BNP2TKI) mengklaim Tenaga kerja Indonesia (TKI) atau pekerja migran Indonesia (PMI) yang bekerja di Korea Selatan mampu menghasilkan pendapatan per bulan hingga mencapai Rp30 juta per bulan.
Mereka rata-rata bekerja di sektor manufaktur atau perikanan. Dari pendapatan itu, mereka bisa menabung hingga mencapai miliaran rupiah.
Plt Kepala BNP2TKI Tatang Budie Utama Razak mengaku kesempatan bekerja di Korea Selatan menjadi peluang bagus kepada masyarakat Indonesia. Dari tahun 2011 hingga 2019, total PMI yang bekerja di Korea Selatan sebanyak 56.283 orang.
“Tenaga kerja Indonesia di Korea, gaji net Rp21 juta (per bulan), bisa mencapai Rp30 juta per bulan. […] Dubes kita di Korea kaget, tabungan tenaga kerja di Korea ini bisa di atas satu miliar rupiah,” kata Tatang saat Rapat Dengar Pendapat dengan Komisi IX DPR RI, Jakarta, Senin (4/11/2019).
Adapun Indonesia memiliki skema kerja sama Government to Government (G to G) dengan Korea Selatan untuk penempatan PMI. Banyak PMI yang direkrut merupakan tamatan SMP.
Seleksi dan penempatan kerja di Korea Selatan merupakan agenda rutin tahunan program kerjasama antara pemerintah Indonesia dengan pemerintah Korea Selatan.
Program ini dikoordinasi oleh BNP2TKI (Badan Nasional Penempatan dan Perlindungan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia) dengan link website: www.bnp2tki.go.id
Bidang Pekerjaan yang ditawarkan oleh pemerintah Korea Selatan adalah bidang Industri (Manufacture) dan Perikanan (Fishing), dengan pendapatan rata rata 30 Juta perbulan, dengan kontrak kerja sampai dengan 4 tahun 10 bulan.
Kesempatan ini berlaku bagi pria dan wanita usia 18 sd 38 tahun dengan minimal pendidikan SMP, sehat jasmani dan rohani (tidak memiliki penyakit TBC, Hepatitis, Shypilis, ada logam dalam tubuh atau seperti susuk, buta warna) dan tidak memiliki catatan kriminal serta tidak pernah dideportasi.
Salah satu syarat utama untuk bisa bekerja di Korea adalah lulus Tes Bahasa Korea EPS TOPIK (Employment Permit System Test of Proficiency in Korean).
